Beckett Corporation Refines Focus, Eliminates Water Gardening Business Unit

Irving, Texas – Beckett Corporation, a trusted leader in pump design and manufacturing since 1948, announced today the strategic decision to eliminate its Water Gardening business unit. This move is a testament to Beckett’s unwavering commitment to its foundational HVAC/R and OEM markets.

Historically, Beckett has been recognized for its innovative and dependable pump solutions, primarily catering to the HVAC, Refrigeration, and OEM sectors. With over 75 years of expertise, the company understands the value of delivering reliable products with exceptional performance. In line with this tradition of excellence, the decision to streamline its operations comes naturally.

While Beckett’s range of pond, fountain, and waterfall pumps has catered to a diverse audience through major DIY home improvement retailers and independent lawn & garden stores, selected products from this line will still be available via their OEM and HVAC/R business units.

A Look at Beckett’s Core Focus:

HVAC/R Business

  • Beckett offers a comprehensive range of products, including small to large condensate pumps, low-profile condensate pumps, plenum-rated condensate pumps, overflow safety switches, and condensate evaporator pans, among others. These products have been integral to various HVAC/R equipment, both in residential and light commercial settings.
  • Trusted by HVAC/R professionals for over 75 years, Beckett’s offerings epitomize dependable performance, ease of installation, quiet operation, and outstanding value. Just this year, ACHR NEWS and Supply House Times have awarded and recognized Beckett’s recently released BK series of medium condensate pumps for these features and benefits.
  • Beckett HVAC/R products continue to be available through leading HVAC/R wholesale distributors and specialty supply houses.

OEM Pump Business

  • With a wide range of core pump technologies and unmatched engineering prowess, Beckett addresses numerous OEM needs, covering applications like specialty HVAC, computer room air conditioning, refrigeration equipment, ice machines, parts washers, tile saws, and more.
  • The OEM & Custom Pump product line is diverse, including stock, semi-custom, and custom pumps in various configurations.
  • The dedicated OEM team at Beckett collaborates closely with OEM customers from the early stages of product development, ensuring the perfect balance of design, materials, quality, and costs.

In this era of change, Beckett Corporation remains firmly rooted in its commitment to providing unparalleled pump solutions. As they bid farewell to the Water Gardening business, their sights are set solely on what they do best: designing and manufacturing pumps for the HVAC/R and OEM markets.
